The High Chair

So up until about a week ago Gavin has been eating his meals out of his Bumbo. Can I just say this was quite the task. They say that babies are not suppose to be able to get out of said

Bumbo and yet somehow my little guy can and with ease!!! So after weeks of fighting a fight I wasn't about to win and getting food everywhere we broke down and bought the cheapest high chair we could find at Walmart. Can I just say .... Godsent!!!!! No more arching back and flipping from one side to the other. He is suck and stays put! Hallaluyah!!!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!

Well I can't believe it but its our third anniversary today! My how time flies!! It has been an amazing 3 years. We have done so much!! So so many good times, some sad times, some growing times but mostly just happy times!!! I didn't know how love could change and grow! I think I am more in love with Eric today then I was three years ago if that's possible!! I can't imagine how that love with grow in 2o years!! I have never been happier in my entire life! Being married and raising a family is a dream com true!! I love you Eric with all my heart!!! Here's to forever with you, Sexy Bum!!!

Gav and I just got back from flying to Utah for Grandpa Ken's 60th Birthday!!! It was so fun except for the snow that happened to be falling as we got off the plane. That was quite the adventure for me!!! Flying with Gav by my self that is!!!! Gavin did so good on the plane both coming and going!! He is such a good boy!!! Well we got there on Wed and played for a few days with cousins and friends and then Papa's big surpise party was on Friday night! It was so much fun and Papa was so surpised!!! Then we flew home on Sat night and was Eric sure excited to see us!! Gav's face just lite up when he saw Eric!! It was the cutest thing!!!!!!!!!! We had such a good time on our trip!! Hope you had fun to Dad!! I so glad we could make it for your big day!!!!!

Happy Birthday Eric!!!

Today Eric turns the big 27!! Ok so it's not a "big" important number but it's a birthday all the same!! And we love birthday's at our house!!! So an update.... Eric loves his new job at the country club!! Gav and I love it too cause he is so close he comes home for lunch everyday now!!! Yea!!! Nothing new with me!! I just love staying home with Gav everyday! Gav is doing so good and growing up so much!! He is six months old now and so we all know what that means.......food!! Gav loves eating his baby food!! I think he's just happy it's something besides milk!!!! He loves sweet potatoes and banana's!!! And he can now army crawl which means he can get into the dvd's!! Grr. Oh well he's too cute to get mad at!!! I was going to try to post a video but I can't figure out how to get it from my video camara to the comp. Oh well. Will try again later! Any way.....Happy Birthday Eric!!! I love you!

Eric Got A Job!!

Eric fina lly got a job!! Yeah!!! No more temp work and now we get benefits!! It has been a rough couple of months for us not knowing what was going to happen. It truly is such a great blessing. He will be working at a country club doing their book-keeping. It's only an asst book keeping job and doesn't pay the greatest but I'm not going to complain. It's better then the temp job he had and worth it for the benefits. We are so excited. Thank you to everyone who kept us in your prayers. We have felt your love and support and are so grateful!! Although the road ahead is still a little shakey I know we'll be ok!

Our St. George Trip

This last week we went to St George to meet Eric's family and do Eric's brother Bryce's temple work! It was such a fun trip even though it was way to short!! We left on Thursday at 10pm and drove straight to Granny and Gramps!! Gav did pretty good. He slept most of the way! The next day was just filled with hanging out with the family and having fun!! And of course going to Maverick for frozen yogurt!!! Then Dad called saying his job had been cancelled and was on his way down so I was really excited to him and Allison!!! (Sorry your job got cancelled Dad but it sure was good to see you!!)

That night was spent relaxing in the hot tub!! The next day we all got up and ready to go to the temple!! It was such a nice day!! The Spirit was so strong. I know Eric was very excited to be doing Bryce's work!! The temple is always so nice and a good get-a-way from life's problems and stress!! I am so glad we were able to go and especially that we were able to do the work of someone we loved and who we miss so much!! I know it meant a lot to Eric!

After the temple we all went to the Golden Coral and ate so much we couldn't move!!! It was such a good day! We went home and watched Twilight!!! (Thanks, Hunny!!) Like I said it was a really good day! On sunday we woke up to Ganny making thins!! YUM! Then we just had a nice relaxing day till it was time to go home that night! We left around 9pm. It was a long drive but well worth the trip!!

Nothing New

I really have nothing new to report. Our life right now is pretty boring. Eric goes to work everyday and Gav and I stay home and clean and play and go on walks. Gav is growing up so fast. He just want to move and play all the time. He never wants to hold still. The other night he was being so cute and giving his monkey kisses and playing peek a boo with his blanket. He pulls his blanket up over his face by himself and then pulls it down when we say "where's gav?"! He has a huge smile on his face. I'll try and get it on video and put it on. I'm still trying to figure this out. But I have video of him and his monkey! I hope this works!
