This summer we planned a vacation to go to Idaho and Utah for 8 days! It was the longest vacation that we had ever taken together and we were so excited to have so much time together and with our families and friends! We left on July 3d and flew to SLC. It was so fun and Gavin just loved the plane ride. When we landed we rented a car and Eric's mom, Sue, met us at the airport and we were on our way to Idaho Falls! It was a pretty good drive considering Gav slept the entire way. When we got to Idaho we had Eric's annual family reunion and then the fireworks show right over the river. It was AMAZING!!!!! I have never in my life seen fireworks like that! Wow! Gavin was awestruck! It was so cute! Then we all crashed for the night! The next morning we got up and drove to the Ranch, Eric's grandparents summer home! Eric's cousin Branden and his cute family came too! It is so beautiful up there in Swan Valley! The house is right on the Snake river and the have so much property! Gavin loved running around and riding on the lawn mower and the AMT!! It was so relaxing and Granny and Sue made the best food! It was so needed! We also went and got my most favorite kind of ice cream of all time. Huckleberry'n cream! So good! We stayed at the Ranch until Wed morning then headed out on our drive back to Utah. It was an awesome couple of days!
