Christmas 2010

This year for Christmas was interesting. We stayed home and had our own Christmas. This was the first time we have done that in our married life. It was fun and nice to be all together. A little sad in missing all the family traditions at home but fun to have our own. We did the traditional Danish Christmas where we opened all our gifts on Christmas Eve. It was so fun to watch Gavin opening gifts. He was so into it this year and got so excited with each one. As he would open them he would say "Ahh Cool!" It was so cute. It was a meager Christmas this year but we made the most of it. Then on Christmas morning we opened Santa presents and Stockings! Again Gavin was so excited and we just had such a great time together. Later that day we drove to Eric's Aunt and Uncle's and just hung out with family and enjoyed one another's company. That night on the way home we stopped at the Mesa temple to see the temples! I really loved this and hope to make it a tradition every year. It was such a nice way to end the day with Spirit so strong and to be able to really enjoy the true meaning in why we celebrate Christmas. Here are some pics from our Christmas.

Our Christmas Eve dinner.
I think we did a pretty good job!

No set of pictures are complete without on of the "face".

Here's me trying to do the "face" and failing miserably!

And now the normal picture, except for whatever my hair is doing.
